Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives F-Gerindra Fadli Zon Insinuating Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud Md on Twitter related to Mahfud’s tweet claiming to have watched the soap opera ‘Ikatan Cinta’ during the emergency PPKM period. what say Fadli Zon?
“This is if the COVID control command is not directly led by the President. Some are busy, working in the field, some are busy watching the soap opera Ikatan Cinta. My suggestion is Mr. @jokowi take over the leadership in handling COVID emergencies. All ministers have their respective responsibilities. Happy watching Sir,” said Fadli on his Twitter account while including a laughing emoji, as seen on Friday (16/7/2021).
Fadli Zon write the tease while including tweet Mahfud who said he watched the soap opera Ikatan Cinta. Mahfud also provided notes on the criminal law for the soap opera ‘Ikatan Cinta’.
The tweet about the soap opera Ikatan Cinta was uploaded by Mahfud on Thursday (15/7). Mahfud considered the soap opera fun to watch. But, according to him, the storyline of the soap opera is spinning.
“PPKM gave me the opportunity to watch the soap opera series Ikatan Cinta. It was fun too, even though it was a bit muddled,” Mahfud wrote.
In addition, Mahfud assesses that the legal understanding of the scriptwriter of the soap opera ‘Ikatan Cinta’ is not good. Because, there was one incident in the soap opera where the actor was immediately arrested by the police because he confessed to killing.
“But the author’s legal understanding of the story is not quite right. Sarah, who confessed and asked to be punished for killing Roy, was immediately arrested. Even though the confession in the criminal law is not strong evidence,” Mahfud tweeted.
In a subsequent tweet, Mahfud also explained the reasons why confession is not strong evidence in criminal law. Because the real perpetrator may not be the person who confessed.
“Roy’s killer is Elsa. Sarah, Elsa’s mother, admits to being the killer and asks to be punished in order to protect Elsa. Well, in criminal law, not just anyone confesses and is arrested. which is actually free,” wrote Mahfud.
