Jakarta, CNNIndonesia —
Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party, Fadli Zone allowing the matter of agreement between Anies Baswedan and Prabowo Subianto which both made during the 2017 DKI Jakarta Pilkada.
According to Fadli, he took part in drafting the agreement. He said there were seven points agreed upon by the two of them with Sandiaga Uno. However, he was reluctant to detail the points of the agreement.
“If there is, there is. Incidentally I drafted, I wrote, and there are seven points. If that’s the Pilkada business,” said Fadli at the Gerindra DPP office, Monday (6/2).
According to Fadli, the agreement is different from other agreements that have been busy recently and were revealed by Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Erwin Aksa. The agreement stated that Sandi had loaned Anies IDR 50 billion to win the 2017 Pilkada.
The member of Commission I of the DPR admitted that he did not know anything about the agreement.
“Nothing, that’s different, ask Pak Sandi,” he said.
Previously, rumors of an agreement between Prabowo and Anies were conveyed by Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Gerindra Party, Sandiaga Uno. In a podcast with Akbar Faizal, Sandi said that the agreement between himself, Prabowo and Anies was made before the 2019 presidential election.
Sandi initially answered Akbar’s question regarding the video circulating that Anies would not run for president if Prabowo took a similar step.
According to Sandi, the agreement was very vital because it coincided with Prabowo’s plan to run for the 2019 presidential election. However, he was reluctant to reveal the contents of the agreement and asked that this be asked to the Deputy Head of Gerindra, Fadli Zon, as the facilitator of the agreement.
“There are a number of points and this is enough to make me quite detailed about what was agreed, including relating to it, because it was at the beginning of the coalition and at the beginning of determining the candidate,” he said.
