Mohamed Fadl, a member of the Egyptian Football Association Administration Committee, confirmed that the fans should support and support the Egyptian national team during the coming period and postpone accountability for the team and the technical staff.
Fadl indicated in statements on Youth and Sports Radio that he was saddened by the attack that the team was subjected to after the confrontation with Togo in Cairo, which ended with the victory of Egypt with a clean goal.
Fadl said, “The Egyptian national team is bigger than the clubs. It should receive full support. After we see the results and the goals we have to achieve, accountability begins.”
He concluded: “I was sad about the attack on the Egyptian national team after the Togo match in Cairo. The team was going through difficult circumstances and did not gather completely except for some days.”
It is worth noting that the Egyptian national team repeated its victory over Togo with three goals to one, outside the ground, in the fourth round of qualifying for the African Nations Cup.
