Presidential Spokesman Fadjroel Rachman included in the list of candidates for ambassadors (ambassador) proposed by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to the DPR. Regarding this, Fadjroel said that the assignment was a gift for him.
“Any task for the state that President Joko Widodo has directed to me is a priceless gift,” Fadjroel told reporters, Friday (25/6).
In the list of ambassador candidates, Fadjroel was assigned the Indonesian Ambassador to Kazakhstan and the Republic of Tajikistan. He also admitted that he was ready to take on the position.
“Because the duty of the state is a noble task, everywhere, for the glory of the state and nation towards an advanced Indonesia,” he said.
Jokowi proposed as many as 33 names of ambassador candidates to take part in the fit and proper test at Commission I of the DPR RI.
Two of the 33 names are the Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Rosan Roeslani who was proposed to be the Indonesian Ambassador to the United States and the Presidential Spokesman Fadjroel Rachman who was proposed to be the Indonesian Ambassador to Kazakhstan and the Republic of Tajikistan.
“That’s right,” said member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission I Dave Laksono via text message when confirming the 33 names of the ambassador candidates proposed by Jokowi through the RI Presidential Letter Number R-25/Pres/06/2021 dated June 4, 2021, Friday (25/6) .
