Law degree
This diploma prepares students for all legal professions, in the private, public and parapublic sectors. The lessons given in Nevers concern the L1 and L2.
ADMISSION :
the 1st year of the license is accessible with the bac, through Parcoursup. It is also possible to apply with a DAEU (Diploma of access to university studies) and with a capacity in law.
Public Administration License
This vocational diploma, level L3, prepares students for the administrative competitions of
category A and B of the various public functions (State, territorial, hospital, European) but it also allows to pursue second cycle studies for example in master of public law. It also provides access to the legal or paralegal professions as well as to the private sector.

Capacity in law
Capacity in law is accessible from the age of 17. It is also open to employees, job seekers, etc. This university degree is prepared in 2 years in evening classes and on Saturday mornings. It can also be followed as a free auditor. This diploma makes it possible to pursue higher studies or to enter directly into the labor market in the professions of legal secretariat in banking or insurance. A few words on the legal courses offered in Nevers?
André Dauteribes: These are courses leading to national diplomas, allowing students to continue their studies without difficulty.
After our L1 / L2 cycle, it is thus possible to integrate our license in Public Administration (LAP) or to continue studies in L3, either directly in Dijon or in another university, after some additional administrative procedures. In addition, the courses are all given face-to-face, with the exception of some LAP lessons. Note the establishment of an agreement allowing our students
scholarship holders to continue at the National School of Public Finance in Nevers to prepare for public treasury and public finance competitions.
Your UFR also offers a capacity in law; what is the particularity of this course?
André Dauteribes: We can really speak of a second chance course. Open to high school students or adults who have not made the right choices or who have had difficulties and have not obtained the baccalaureate, it still opens the doors to higher education. The
students who have particularly succeeded in this course will even be able to directly integrate an L2 in law. It is a real gateway to higher education, a way to recreate links with studies.
