Facts of an ASN Breaking into Isolation Room and Shaking Hands with Covid-19 Patients, Viral on Social Media and Making the Excuses Between Goods

KOMPAS.com – Video footage showing a man breaking in isolation room Covid-19 patients at the quarantine center located at the Islamic Center Kotabumi, North Lampung, viral on social media.

In the video, the man is desperate to meet his colleague who is being treated for positive Covid-19 without using personal protective equipment.

“I met Taufik Rusdi, who is in isolation, who according to the North Lampung Covid-19 Task Force, he is positive for Covid-19,” Suhaimi said in a video received on Saturday (19/9/2020) afternoon.

Even though he did not use adequate personal protective equipment, the man was also determined to shake his positive Covid-19 colleague.

Not only that, the man also warned the Covid-19 Task Force and asked to write down his name.

“Earlier, I shook hands, right? Try shaking one more time, command greetings, ”said Suhaimi.

“For Covid-19 officers throughout North Lampung, don’t be weird, yes, write my name Suhaimi Alimin,” said Suhaimi Alimin.

An ASN is known

Spokesperson for the North Lampung Covid-19 Task Force, Sanny Lumi, when confirmed, confirmed the viral video.

The man in the video is known as Suhaimi Alimin who works as an ASN at the North Lampung Trade and Cooperative Office.

After receiving this information, his party admitted that he immediately secured the man at his house.

Currently, he has also been taken to a quarantine center for isolation.

“Yes, we have secured the concerned person to be isolated. The residents are also ASNs in the North Lampung Cooperative Office, ”said Sanny Lumi when contacted, Saturday (19/9/2020).

Excuse between goods

After being secured by the Covid-19 Task Force Team, Suhaimi Alimin apologized.

Regarding the viral video, he admitted that he was asked for help by the family of his isolated colleague to deliver goods.

“Mr. TR’s wife asked me while crying, no one in his extended family dared to hand over the item, I forgot what was in it, may ask later,” he explained.

To make sure that the item had been given, the friend’s family asked him to record a video.

However, when the incident happened, he admitted that he had received permission from the picket officer in the isolation room.

“After arriving there, the report to the picket, I forgot. Please, keep your distance, at that time I made a mistake about that again, because of that earlier, to prove the item reached Mr. TR, I asked to make a video, ”he said.

As a result of Suhaimi Alimin’s actions, the Task Force Team will conduct an evaluation and investigation of the officers on duty. This was done so that a similar case would not occur.
