Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia Over time, smartphones will experience a decrease in quality. Including the quality of the battery that can no longer be recharged only once per day, like when it was just purchased.

It also follows a number of myths to extend battery life. For example, do not charge the battery more than 80 percent. But what about the real facts?

Android Authority wrote charging the phone 30-80 percent can extend battery life. The reason is that the generated voltage is lower, quoted on Tuesday (1/8/2023).

According to notes Android Authority, HP running at low voltage is good for battery life. That way you can increase the number of charge cycles, long before the capacity drops.

Battery University reports its calculations that every 0.1 V drop in cell voltage can double the battery life cycle.

In the same report, Android Authority emphasizes ending battery charging at 80-90 percent. It will be better than full filling.

In addition, HP users are also asked to avoid fully charging the battery, namely from zero to 100%, including charging it overnight. Instead, charging can be done more frequently and in small increments.

The use of fast charging technology or fast charging is also recommended. Smartphones are also asked to always be cold when charging. So keep it away from hot places while charging the battery.

Apart from that, to prevent the smartphone from getting hot, don’t use the cellphone during the battery charging time. Activities to avoid include playing intensive games, streaming videos or running intensive workloads.
