JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – A man was arrested by the police for molesting his biological daughter who is still a minor.
The Women and Children Service Unit (PPA) of the Satreskrim Metro Police arrested the perpetrator with the initials DJ (52), a resident of Tugu Utara Village, Koja, North Jakarta.
Here are some facts from the case.
A year of indecent child alone
To the police, DJ admitted that he had molested his 16 year old biological daughter.
North Jakarta Police PPA Head AKP Andry Soeharto said the perpetrator admitted to having committed this lecherous act for about a year.
Fornication That, Andry continued, occurred in a rented house which was the residence of the perpetrator and the victim.
“The perpetrator is the victim’s biological father. The victim’s initials J. This molestation has been committed by the perpetrator for about 1 year at his rented house,” said Andry at the North Jakarta Police, Wednesday (10/3/2021).
Andry explained, DJ molested the victim almost every day for the past year so that the perpetrator admitted that he did not know how many times he had committed lecherous acts.
“These actions have been carried out repeatedly since 2019 until the last March 6, 2021 and cannot be counted how many times,” said Andry, as quoted by Antara. Tribune Jakarta.
The victim, according to Andry, was always threatened by his father to obey his lecherous lust.
“The victim is always threatened by his biological father, the perpetrator continues to molest the victim until he can not count how many times, almost every time. fornication against the victim and did not do it only when the victim was menstruating, “said Andry.
Thanks to his mother’s report
Andry explained, the rented house was actually the place where the victim’s biological mother and wife of the suspect lived.
However, the victim’s mother never found out because the perpetrator molested her daughter while the mother was working at the factory.
The victim’s mother was known to have worked from the morning and returned home at around 22.00 WIB.
Because he could not stand it, the victim finally complained about his father’s treatment to his mother when the perpetrator’s wife was in the factory.
Hearing her daughter’s confession, the mother immediately reported her husband to the police.
“Then he told his mother and his mother was called home from work. (They) immediately reported to the North Jakarta Metro Police,” explained Andry.

Just live with parents
Meanwhile, the DJ said he made a mistake in molesting his own daughter.
“I made a mistake,” said the DJ when being interrogated by investigators at the North Jakarta Metro Police.
The suspect said that his daughter had just lived with him and his wife.
Since childhood, his son was entrusted to his wife’s grandmother and only came to Jakarta when he was in high school.
“When he was a child, he lived with his grandmother (grandmother) from his wife until he wanted to enter high school to move to Jakarta,” he continued.
Unlike what was stated by the police, DJ admitted that he did not force the victim when he was about to molest.
“If you are forced, you don’t. Only if he doesn’t want me to persuade him: ‘Ah, I don’t want to be like that’,” said the DJ.
He added that he rarely had sex with his wife because the victim’s mother came home late at night and was exhausted when he arrived home.
“His wife came home late at night. If you come home tired, you go to sleep immediately,” said the suspect.
For his actions, the suspect was charged with Article 82 in conjunction with Article 76E of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 35 of 2014 on the Amendment to Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection and could face 15 years in prison.
