FACTORY | Mechatronics Center Linz: Manfred Nader is the new CSO of the LCM

The role ensures continuity in the Linz-based research and development service provider founded in 2001, which is characterized by exceptionally long-term cooperation between employees, -business purchases and research partners. Manfred Nader has been part of the company, which has grown to 120 employees, from the very beginning with a focus on integrating different technologies into a complete solution. In his new role, Nader, who was born in Amstetten and grew up in Aschbach-Markt, also takes responsibility for the competence center COMET K2 “Symbiotic Mechatronics” operated by LCM. The 48-year-old’s tasks include strengthening the interaction between research and business practice, expanding the LCM’s international reputation and bringing more EU funding to Austria. Technically, it is to set standards beyond previously valid limits.

The LCM is recognized as an expert for fundamental and application-based research and development in the disciplines of mechatronics, automation, digital product development and artificial intelligence. To be able to work so integrated and successfully in these very broad areas, special technological training is required. Nader completed this in the LCM environment.
