The fire in the factory operating in Muradiye Organized Industrial Zone in Yunusemre district of Manisa was extinguished. 7 firefighters and 4 irrigation tankers intervened in the fire that started around 21.00 and extinguished at 01.00. Health teams were dispatched to the scene after firefighters who intervened in the fire were affected by the dense smoke that came out during the cooling works. Health teams provided oxygen to firefighters affected by smoke by ambulances. 4 firefighters were hospitalized.
Manisa It was stated that the firefighters who were taken to the City Hospital and Manisa Celal Bayar University Hafsasultan Hospital were in good condition. It was learned that firefighters were kept under observation in the hospital because they inhaled chemical substances.
An investigation was launched by the gendarmerie teams to find out the exact cause of the fire.
