According to drg. Ratu Mirah Afifah GCClinDent MDSc, a factor in the occurrence of sensitive teeth is the erosion of minerals in teeth due to daily lifestyle, or often called demineralization.
Demineralization can be caused by several factors, including diet, age, hormonal, systemic diseases, and the wrong way to brush your teeth. As a result, teeth have a high sensitivity to heat, cold, or pressure.

Healthy food choices such as tomatoes, lemons, oranges, vinegar, or salad dressings, including drinks made from a mixture of water and infused fruit, are high in acid consumption. All of these have the potential to be one of the factors that trigger demineralization, resulting in tooth sensitivity problems.
