1. Heating
The heating process in an object can cause changes in the object itself.

2. Burning
Combustion of an object can cause changes in the properties of objects, lo. There are many examples that we see in everyday life.

3. Temperature Change

5. Decay
The process of decay is usually assisted by certain bacteria or germs. This process is found in many foods.

To prevent the decay process from occurring, there are three ways that can be used:
a. Preserving food with salt (salting).
b. Preserving food with sugar.
c. Storing food at cold temperatures, such as refrigerating.
