On the eve of the holidays, blood stocks are sorely lacking. A situation as unprecedented as it is worrying. To overcome these shortcomings and encourage donations, the prefecture of Tarn-et-Garonne, the French Blood Establishment, organize collections throughout the month of July.
It’s a quick move that can save lives. As summer vacation begins in a few days, the level blood stocks is alarming. For the second time in its history, the French blood establishment has published a vital emergency bulletin.
In Tarn-et-Garonne, the EFS and the prefecture have set up mobile collections throughout the department. Here is the list of collection points.
- Montauban (the donation house): every Monday (10 a.m.-1 p.m., 2 p.m.-6 p.m.), Wednesdays (11 a.m.-1 p.m., 2 p.m.-7 p.m.), first Saturdays of the month (9 a.m.-1 p.m.).
- Moissac (Espace Confluences): Monday July 11 (from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.) and Tuesday July 12 (from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.)
- Labastide Saint Pierre (Belloc foyer): Monday July 18 (from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.)
- Saint Antonin Noble Val (terms room): Thursday July 21 (from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.)
- Caussade (Espace Bonnais): Monday July 25 to Wednesday July 27 (from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.)
- Grisolles (socio-cultural space): Thursday July 28 (from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
- Negrepelisse (Espace Padié): Friday July 29 (from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.)
It is possible to donate blood between the ages of 18 and 70, provided you weigh at least 50 kilos and meet the medical criteria requested before each donation.
