Faced with the shortage of staff, the Nancy hospital is recruiting in bakeries

The largest employer in Lorraine, which employs around 10,000 people, still needs to increase its workforce and is making this known. The CHRU of Nancy (Meurthe-et-Moselle) has just launched a vast communication campaign available on several media.

Large banners on its establishments, messages flocked to its service vehicles and also printed on bread bags. In 50 bakeries in the department, when you buy a baguette, you can read on the packaging: “The public hospital needs you, join us. Caregivers, but also computer scientists, logisticians, secretaries, technicians, electricians. »

Medical, paramedical and technical sectors

The establishment, which is experiencing tensions in the medical and paramedical sector, is currently looking for 150 people. Fifty positions are also to be filled in less known sectors, hence this communication campaign for more technical jobs.

“We don’t necessarily think of applying to the hospital for certain jobs. We don’t just employ carers,” explains Jérôme Malfroy, head of the human resources department. To attract candidates, the Nancy CHRU also offers work-study training in these technical professions. All offers can be viewed on the hospital’s website.
