A year that this lasts, a year without culture, a year without an audience… There is now an emergency!” The Mega CGR cinema chain is stepping up to the plate at the time of blowing the sad anniversary of the first confinement. After a parenthesis this summer, the dark rooms are indeed plunged back into darkness since the second confinement.
To highlight this situation, Mega CGR has posted a video clip entitled “Silence” where Tarbes has pride of place, notably featuring its director Olivier Ture, very attached to his establishment and the entertainment he provides in the Hautes-Pyrénées. There is also the Mega CGR of the Arsenal, a closed enclosure in a completely stationary district.

Keeping the cinemas closed means preventing the French from having fun and experiencing the emotions that the experience of the movie theater. The French are already psychologically weakened by all the restrictions on freedom suffered for months. We cannot live without culture, only by working and consuming. “
And the professionals hammer home: “We must reopen the cinemas, because it is proven, they are safe places.” Between June 22 and October 30, 27 million entries were made without any cluster being declared. “We miss our viewers as much as they miss us,” the channel concludes.
