Frankfurt: The Deutsche Umwelthilfe is filing a lawsuit against the Facebook parent company Meta for allegedly hesitantly deleting hate messages. The head of environmental aid, Resch, stated that persecution and threats against environmental aid employees in the networks would no longer be accepted. Instead, action is now being taken against the platform operator who is providing the space for hatred. The environmental aid wants to ensure that groups on Facebook are closed, in which violence or even murder is called for. A first hearing is planned for next Tuesday. Meta said the group would take action against hate speech as soon as it became aware of it.
