Meta, the parent company of Facebook, is preparing a new virtual reality headset that will replace Oculus Quest 2 and be more designed for virtual universes than the Metaverse.
Meta: A helmet to promote the Metaverse
But if the parent company of the number 1 social network wanted to keep the secret around its device, it was quite missed: one of its employees forgot a copy in a hotel room. The helmet was recovered by one of the employees who took some photos and unpacked the device.

We now know the official name of the helmet: Meta Quest Pro. The individual made a quick video presentation of the helmet showing the mention “not for sale”.
We therefore find the design already presented in previous leaks already shared when the helmet was known as the Cambria project.
As the images were shared, the Meta employee asked to retrieve the helmet.
The helmet should offer an immersive experience in the virtual worlds of Worlds Horizons, the Meta service. It should also be able to offer immersive viewing in video games such as Rift headphones, HTC VivePlayStation VR and even augmented or mixed reality like virtual reality glasses like Hololens.
