Due to the current situation, many people stay at home or only travel inland during the summer holidays. With its “Good Route” campaign, Facebook now wants to offer another alternative and support local companies.

The current location makes choosing a suitable vacation destination rather difficult. Are you traveling abroad to Italy, France or even Bali? Or would you rather just go to Sylt or Lake Chiemsee inland? Facebook brings another alternative into play with its “Good Route” campaign: a journey via live stream from the couch and for a good cause!
This is how the “Good Route” starts on June 28th Facebook Germany website and shows you rather unknown travel destinations in Germany apart from the tourism hot spots. No matter whether with alpacas through Castrop-Rauxel or baking cookies in a different way in the Upper Palatinate. The project shows you destinations and areas that many people tend not to have on their list.

Facebook’s “good route”: dates and goals
- June 28, 5:00 p.m. – Live from Castrop-Rauxel, Daniels kleine Farm
- July 03, 4:00 p.m .: Mittelachsen, Burg Kriebstein and Anna ferry
- July 10, 4 p.m .: Altmühltal, Dinopark Altmühltal and District Five Ingolstadt
- July 17, 4 p.m .: Westphalia, Wisent World Bad Berleburg and Red hair tours
- July 24, 4 p.m .: Upper Palatinate, Nepal Himalaya Park and Biscuit magic Regensburg
For a month there is another live stream every seven days, which is accompanied by a comment. The campaign is intended to show you that there are other worthwhile places for a small trip, even if it only takes place locally. This should also strengthen the companies in your regions that were hit by the Corona crisis.
Start in NRW, end in the Upper Palatinate
