Facebook is taking these steps in virtual reality to the next level. The company wants to build a virtual universe. This universe, known as the Metaverse, means a virtual world where everything can be done over the internet.
In order to enter this world, devices such as virtual reality glasses will be needed. Facebook took the initiative in the European Union to establish the virtual universe. The company will create employment for 10 thousand people in total in the countries within the union.
