This Monday Facebook reported that it eliminated 1,300 million false accounts between October and December, in addition to having more than 35,000 people working in the fight against disinformation on its platform.
They also affirmed that they removed more than 12 million content about Covid-19 and the vaccines that world health experts described as disinformation.
Finally, it is important to mention that the disclosure of data on Facebook disinformation occurs before an inspection by the Energy and Commerce Committee of the United States House of Representatives on the way in which technology platforms such as Facebook are fighting disinformation.
