Facebook Messenger offers Slack-style shortcuts

Today Meta, the parent company of Facebook, comes to introduce some novelties within its Messenger platform. This is a series of shortcuts supposed to bring user-friendliness and efficiency to its exchanges, including professional ones. Of them shortcuts are available today on iOS and Android: @everyone and /silent. These last two necessarily evoke Slack or old chat platforms where they abounded. The first allows you to attract everyone’s attention in a group conversation (practical when everyone is typing at the same time or when the chat remains open continuously). The second offers to send a message to someone without sending a notification.
