Facebook announced the launch in Portugal of the new edition of the training program for SMEs, in alliance with the National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (ANMPE) and the Ministry of Economy and Digital Transition.
Today begins the edition of the training program ‘Impulsa con Facebook’, integrated into the #ApoiamosasnossasPME campaign.
The program has already trained 3,000 companies and aims to train “more than 1,800 SMEs” by the end of the year, the social network reported.
“The first edition of the program, in 2019, brought together 1,000 Portuguese SMEs and the second edition, last year, brought together more than 2,000 companies,” he adds.

The “Impulsa con Facebook” program “includes free online sessions with an expert trainer and personalized training to support SMEs in the implementation of digital tools and strategies.”
This edition includes five sessions, starting today in May and until the end of 2021, “with the following topics:” Establish a presence on Facebook and Instagram “;” Find new customers with Instagram “;” Create an effective advertising strategy “;” Generate results with Facebook Messenger ”and“ Use WhatsApp to grow your business ”.
It is part of the #ApoiamosasnossasPME digital campaign, “an initiative that aims to contribute positively to the reactivation of small and medium-sized Portuguese companies.”
Facebook “believes that thanks to digital tools, such as those included in this campaign, it is possible to accelerate the digital transformation during the covid-19 pandemic, and that there is capacity in Portuguese companies to adapt business strategies to new economic scenarios” , Add.
