Jakarta, Selular.ID – Facebook has just entered the smart glasses business, with the name of the world’s leading eyeglass brand, RayBan. This product includes two 5 MP cameras, a touchpad, built-in speakers and three microphones and of course a charging case.
What’s interesting is that despite being sophisticated, in appearance, these smart glasses from Facebook still carry the typical RayBan design of the Wayfarer type, which is thick with a classic and masculine impression.
In terms of capabilities, the smart glasses that have two 5MP sharp cameras can take photos and videos of up to 30 seconds. And then it has internal storage to hold 500+ photos and 30 videos. What makes it even more interesting these glasses also support computational photography, HDR, low light fusion (Night Mode), video stabilization.
And on the microphone side, it is no less sophisticated, because it uses beam-forming and noise-canceling technology to provide good sound recording during video recording.
Result of snaps and videos can also be directly saved on the Facebook application, which you can then edit and send directly to social applications such as Instagram, Messenger, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, and others.
For the price alone, this device is $299 or around Rp. 4.2 million, and is already available in the European market, and of course it is possible that it will enter the Asian market, including Indonesia.
