The social network Facebook, together with Instagram, suffered a severe global collapse. This happened around 17:30 Bulgarian time. Probably at the same time all users find themselves kicked out of their profiles.
The technical issue is preventing users from logging back into their accounts. Regardless of the password entered, an error is given that it was entered incorrectly or to try again later.
Both the mobile applications and the sites of the social platforms are locked.
Satisfied users from all over the world posted in the temporary alternative X/Twitter about problems with entering the sites of Mapĸ Zyĸuppg.
The first look over the situation after looking at the complaints are that they are from the whole world and not from a specific region.
Most people look at the situation with a smile, and there are already thousands of funny pictures and guesses as to why the Meta services crashed.
Threads seems to be completely off the grid as well. When I open the app, I get an error message that says, “Sorry, something went wrong. Try again.”
The WhatsApp app, which is also owned by Meta, appears to still be working.
A Facebook source told DailyMail that the company’s internal systems were also down, which may have led to the outage. Nearly an hour after the systems crash, there is still no official information from the company.
DownDetector, which monitors online outages, showed that in just a few minutes more than 200,000 Americans had problems with Facebook, but more than 30,000 reported the same with Instagram – Messenger had just over 8,000.
