It is a military object that belonged to a World War I soldier named Pierre Drevet who lived in Saint-Étienne. Died at the front as a result of his wounds, the soldier left a unique legacy to his family who sadly lost this relic.
What was not to the taste of the farmer’s mother : “We live in a region with a sense of duty to remember and here farmers often find objects from the First World War” ! She used the information on the plaque to conduct extensive research on Facebook. She was quick to post a message and a photo on the group “You are from Saint-Étienne if …” hoping that one descendant is subscribed.
