Facebook Explains to iPhone Users Regarding Using Data for Ads

Talk about problems setting privacy in iOS 14.4, Facebook was previously reportedly preparing a lawsuit against Apple regarding the privacy features in iOS 14.4.

The reason is, Facebook accused Apple of forcing developers to comply with the Appe Store rules.

Quoting Engadget, Friday (29/1/2021), this information was first announced by The Information.

It is said, if Facebook decides to file a lawsuit, this complaint will also target Apple which refuses to allow third-party applications to become a messaging service. default on an Apple device, instead of using iMessage.

Facebook itself once claimed, “Apple’s upcoming ad tracking changes provide an unfair advantage in displaying ads on the Apple Store and elsewhere.”

Meanwhile, this policy does not apply to Apple applications. Regarding this, Apple also said that the company did not intend to share user data with third parties, such as Facebook.

Apple insists that their move is an effort to protect user privacy.
