Facebook is working on training an AI to recognize products on images.
The aim of the project is to make it easy for users to find and buy products that they see in photos. An AI will recognize this.
GrokNet recognizes products
According to a blog post by the group, the technology will soon be rolled out on Instagram and WhatsApp. It will turn both applications into a shopping platform in the future.
