Parallel to virtual reality, the Facebook parent company Meta also uses augmented reality, i.e. enriching reality with virtual information, when implementing its own Metaverse plans. And for this – similar to the Oculus glasses with the VR plans – the appropriate hardware is supplied. The first step in this direction are the “Ray-Ban Stories”, which were created in cooperation with the iconic eyewear brand and are intended to score points with various smart features in addition to protection against UV light.
