Two weeks ago, they were shocked at the Kunstmuseum aan Zee, abbreviated Mu.ZEE, in Ostend. Social media giant Facebook decided to block their page after a message containing a photo of artist Constant Permeke with some nude sculptures. To this day, the museum can no longer be found on the platform. “Our complaint is said to be being handled by Facebook,” says Colette Castermans of Mu.ZEE.
