Facebook Beats War Drums Against Signal

VIVA – Instant messaging application Signal say Facebook has blocked the ad which contains an explanation to Instagram users about the data-personal data collected by Facebook from users.

In a blog post entitled ‘The Instagram ads Facebook won’t show you’, Signal said Facebook is collecting users’ personal data for sale, and they want to show the workings of the company led by Mark Zuckerberg.

Then Signal tried to buy a multi-variant targeted ad slot on Instagram designed to show users the personal data Facebook collects and the sale of its access. But Facebook responded by closing the Signal account.

“Being transparent about how ads use people’s data seems pretty banned. In the world of Facebook, the only acceptable use is to hide what you do from your audience,” Signal wrote in a blog post.
