After pictures of the sunglasses were leaked online, Facebook and Ray-Ban’s smart sunglasses Stories are now official. It is thus a pair of sunglasses with a camera, which allows users to record videos and take pictures directly from the sunglasses. They also have a microphone and speakers, so you can make calls and listen to music without a pair of headphones. The dual 5-megapixel cameras are directly connected to an LED light that shows the environment that the person is filming.
Facebook has developed an app for sunglasses, they say:
“Ray-Ban Stories pairs with the new Facebook View app, so you can share your stories and memories seamlessly with friends and social media followers. The Facebook View app on iOS and Android makes it easy to import, edit and share content captured on the smart glasses to apps on your phone: Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat and more.”
The sunglasses cost $ 299 and come in 20 different styles online and at some retailers in the United States, Australia, Canada, Ireland, Italy and the United Kingdom.
Snap has been selling its sunglasses since 2017 Spectacles, with which users can take pictures, film and create AR experiences.
