Facebook and Instagram launch the #NavidadConSaborLocal campaign

The Gourmet Journal participates in this action with a video recipes to promote the consumption of local products

Facebook and Instagram have launched the #NavidadConSaborLocal campaign, which aims to be a call to users of both social networks to promote the consumption of local and proximity products during the holidays, especially when preparing Christmas meals.

The action is supported by a virtual assistant in Messenger, which allows users to know some local ingredients while suggesting how to prepare them. The wizard will guide the user to the content prepared by prescribers of our gastronomy, such as Isasaweis, El Cocinero Fiel, The Gourmet Journal or MJ’s Recipes. In addition, Alma Obregón will offer several sweet proposals.

Each one has selected a series of local ingredients and possible elaborations, as is the case of The Gourmet Journal, which participates with a video recipe to cook chicken stuffed with pears and ham. Here you can see the recipe.

With this virtual assistant Facebook wants to promote contact between people in the community and connect with those companies that are struggling to remain open, celebrating Christmas with local and proximity products.

You can access this recommendation service in Messenger by entering the page of Facebook App, or directly through this link: m.me/facebookappEspana.
