The driver of the small car, a young adult, found himself incarcerated inside his vehicle. “The jaws of jail were necessary to extract it” from the car, explains the sergeant of the Sûreté du Québec, Audrey-Anne Bilodeau. “Seriously injured” he was taken to hospital, along with the man in his 50s driving the second vehicle involved, who had minor injuries.
