Face-to-face classes return in San Antonio de Areco, Guaminí, Salto and Tres Arroyos

The face-to-face classes return from today at all levels and modalities in the municipalities of Carmen de Areco, Guaminí, Salto and Tres Arroyos, in the interior of the province of Buenos Aires, because in those districts the epidemiological and health situation improved in the framework of the second wave of coronavirus.

The measure was made official today in the Official Gazette of the district, as of the publication of joint signature resolution 171 of the Chief of Staff and the General Directorate of Culture and Education.

These are municipalities in which the Government had ordered the temporary suspension of face-to-face classes since June 14 and for 14 consecutive days, “in response to the change in their epidemiological situation.”

The return to the classrooms responds to the fact that the four municipalities went from Phase 2 “Situation of Epidemiological and Sanitary Alarm” to Phase 3 “High epidemiological and sanitary risk” due to the decrease in Covid cases. 19.

Last Monday, a total of 3.5 million kindergarten, primary and secondary level students returned to face-to-face classes in public and private schools in 40 Buenos Aires municipalities of the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA) and 21 districts in the interior of the province. they went to Phase 3.
