DRACHTEN – Staff of De Warrenhove have been wearing mouth masks in the nursing home since Friday. Zorggroep Liante has announced this on its website. Both residents and employees have been infected since April 8, and since then the care group has been continuously working to combat the spread of the virus. The use of mouth masks must contribute to this.
De Warrenhove is a large location and a specific building. This makes it more difficult to stop the coronavirus. The care group knows that they consciously deviate from the guidelines of RIVM.
All residents were asked last week to stay in their apartment. Residents with a corona infection have all but one been transferred to a special Corona unit. Two residents returned home this weekend after recovering.
Infected employees are at home to be sick. “We are making every effort to stabilize the situation in De Warrenhove. This extra measure is in line with this”, says care group Liante.
