The famous Italian photographer, Fabrizio Corona, revealed a shocking surprise in the case of the involvement of Juventus player Nicolo Fagioli in a new betting scandal.
Many Italian press reports revealed Fagioli’s involvement in prohibited betting operations without obtaining permission, as the 22-year-old is scheduled to appear before the investigation authorities in Turin to face the charges.
In this context, Corona said in statements to “Sportitalia”: “Juventus knew about Fagioli’s matter since the first of August, and when the news came out, the club did not summon him to punish him and refused to report him. It is a crime for which it deserves to be relegated.”

He added: “I am conducting a clean investigation like a judiciary on this story. If I were killed, I would be happy about this bad ending to this story.”
He continued: “Faggioli was in trouble because he had been betting for a long time and had very heavy debts. Allegri was expelled from the team and the club knew that his player was addicted to betting and did not report him, so there is a legal responsibility on Juventus.”
The same thing that happened with Fagioli applies to Sandro Tonali, the Newcastle United midfielder, and Nicolo Zaniolo, the Aston Villa player, as the Italian Federation confirmed that they appeared together before the investigating authorities.
Corona said about the duo: “The police did not go to Coverciano until they came to me. It is like a new Calciopoli case with the involvement of some other players. One of the informants revealed to me that Zaniolo was betting on the Roma match in the Italian Cup while he was on the bench.”
It is noteworthy that Fabrizio Corona is considered one of the most famous photographers in the history of Italy, as he was sentenced to five years in prison on charges of blackmailing celebrities with offensive pictures, and he previously escaped before surrendering to the police near the Portuguese city of Lisbon on January 23, 2013.
