As announced in our columns (read our edition of February 23), City football group will appoint a general manager at Estac, as is the case in many clubs owned by investment funds. This position could go to Fabrice Bocquet, former general manager of Lorient (2015-2020). The latter left the Breton club on his own last September and is looking for a new project, which could therefore be the Estac, where his name has been circulating in recent weeks. If he is brought into this role, he will be accountable to Simon Cliff, who should remain chairman at bay. Bocquet is used to this operation since in Lorient, President Loïc Féry lives in London. A former Clermont Foot goalkeeper and HEC graduate, the 37-year-old also worked in finance at Lehman Brothers in London, as well as in strategy consulting at McKinsey & Company.
