Fabricated crisis to price bread in dollars

Concerned official sources confirm, through the Lebanese Forces website, that “there is no bread crisis in any way, and flour is available to all bakeries in various Lebanese regions, and they receive their usual quotas and the quantities required to meet the market’s need on a routine basis.”

The same sources stress that “the greed of some people is behind the fabricated crisis of bread loss that certain areas suffer intermittently, as it prefers to sell other profitable products more than a bundle of bread whose price cannot be manipulated. In addition, some others bet on pushing through pressure to price a bundle of bread in dollars,” warning them that “the concerned authorities will not allow tampering with the citizen’s loaf.”
