Fabio Volo: Actor and Writer Opens Up About Bullying and Success

The son tormented by the bully

Speaking to the guests of the event, Fabio Volo, pseudonym of Fabio Luigi Bonetti, laid himself bare, also speaking about his role as a father. Volo recounted his experience, explaining the way in which he decided to deal with the matter. “My son had bullying problems at school. Instinctively I wanted to go and hit the bullies,” he told the Corriere della Sera the actor and writer. “He asked me about help him and I did it, but trying to make him understand that I could do it up to a certain point. Then he had to do it alone. And so it was,” he added.

A story that seems to have ended in a positive way, given that Volo revealed that he had then organized a pizza dinner, to which the bully was also invited. The actor, we remember, is the father of two children had together with ex-partner Johanna Maggy.

Success as a writer

Fabio Volo is not only known as an actor, but also as writer. Among other things, the release of his new novel is scheduled for this autumn. “I delve into what I can’t say or do on the radio in a book. For me it’s all an investigation. And my freedom is being able to do it. Life has given me an enormous gift. I started from the bottom and everything I received it was a gift. I suffered a lot from my condition even though it is what allowed me to appreciate every little thing”, he stated. Fabio Volo then confessed that only recently has he started to no longer feel guilty about his own success. “Before I bought the house for myself, I bought the house for my parents. Before I bought the car for myself, I bought it for a friend of mine,” she said. “I never took taxis, it seemed like an impossible expense. I still remember the day I got the first book: I went to Mondadori to get it in my grandfather’s 124”, he added.
