BOLASPORT.COM – Monster Energy Yamaha racer, Fabio Quartararo, responded to Luca Marini’s (Mooney VR46) maneuver in taking second place from him in the third race of the MotoGP Americas 2023 series.
MotoGP Americas brings its own satisfaction to Quartararo because he scored his first podium this season.
El Diablo finished in third place in the race that was held at the Circuit of The Americas, Austin, United States of America, Sunday (16/4/2023).
Quartararo found ideal conditions that allowed him to return to competing at the front.
The 2021 MotoGP world champion even has the opportunity to finish in a better position because he was in second place.
However, this moment didn’t last long when Marini smothered Quartararo in a speed race on a long straight track with 8 laps remaining in the race.
After that, Quartararo was no longer able to regain his position until the finish line.
Quartararo responded to the easy moment the Ducati Desmosedici GP22 passed his Yamaha YZR-M1 with a laugh.
“I saw the footage when Luca overtook me,” said Quartararo as reported by BolaSport.com from Paddock-GP.com.
