Liverpool player Fábio Carvalho did not show up for work at the Portuguese Under-21 team.
«Fábio Carvalho has informed the Portuguese Football Federation, via SMS messages, that he does not intend to continue representing Portugal at under-21 level. This player’s decision was communicated after the call-up for the preparation matches with Czechia became known and Japan,” explains the Portuguese Football Federation.
