Before returning to work, music star Fabienne Louves (36) and boyfriend Luca Schneider (34) take a break in the city that never sleeps: the former “MusicStar” winner spent a week with her boyfriend at New York. The singer and her girlfriend visited the metropolis for the third time. «We love the city! It has so much to offer, ”Louves tells Blick. “You can do everything in New York: from going to a musical, to long shopping tours, to an aperitif in a rooftop bar with a sensational view of the city. And in the evening, finally, a nightcap in a trendy jazz bar. “
The singer (“Hemmigslos Liebe”) particularly enjoyed the so-called Doors-Off helicopter flight over Manhattan. “It was spectacular: we flew over the Brooklyn Bridge with our feet dangling out the door, we saw the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building. It was truly breathtaking, ”says Louves. And he adds: “Fortunately I’m not afraid of heights!” Of course, the singer and actress also had to go to a theater production in New York: “We saw ‘Harry Potter and the curse of the child’. An impressive production with incredible special effects. “
By bike through Manhattan
Instead of the famous yellow taxis, Fabienne Louves and friend Luca often used a rental e-bike. “There are hundreds of them in town and you don’t get stuck in the famous Manhattan traffic jam with your bike.” The singer and her partner, who have been a happy couple for over seven years, have made several trips around the city. “I love the feeling of freedom on the bike and you also do something for your fitness,” says Louves with a laugh. The singer particularly enjoyed the tour on the famous Broadway: “When you drive to the illuminated Times Square in the evening, it’s just magical!”
After her city trip to New York, Fabienne Louves now has to return to work in Switzerland. From 3 November the star of the musical will be on stage in the role of Deloris Van Cartier in the dialect version of the musical “Sister Act”.
