FAA calls for inspection of newer aircraft models after missing part reported by international airline

The American aviation watchdog FAA has called on all users to inspect the newer models for possible loss of parts.

An international airline reported a missing nut on a bolt during routine maintenance. If additional problems arise, the FAA may take additional action.

Boeing previously had to ground its 737 MAX for a long time after two accidents with this aircraft in a short time, in 2018 and 2019. A total of 346 people were killed. The issue has already cost the company more than $20 billion.

In April of this year there were problems with the plane again. They then had to halt deliveries of some 737 MAX aircraft after new problems were discovered with this type of aircraft.
