Manchester United defeated Everton, 3-1, in the third round of the FA Cup on Friday.
Manchester United opened the scoring early in the first half through Brazilian Anthony in the fourth minute, and the visitors capitalized on a mistake by Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea to equalize in the 14th minute, Connor Cody’s goal.
Manchester United came close to scoring again in the first half, but Dane Christian Eriksson’s shot hit goalkeeper Jordan Pickford’s crossbar.
In the second half Manchester United took the lead again with an own goal scored by Connor Cody by mistake in his own goal in the 51st minute. In the final moments of the match, Marcus Rashford scored the third goal for the “Red Devils” from a penalty kick in the 90th + 7th minute.
