George Russell be the winner of the race Formula 1 GP Brazil 2022. The Mercedes driver fumigated his teammate, Lewis Hamilton.
21st series Formula 1 2022 held at Interlagos Circuit, Sao Paulo on Monday (14/11/2022) at morning WIB. George Russell started the race from the front of the grid.
Russell dominated the race for 71 laps. The British driver finished the race in first place, as well as his first F1 win.
Lewis Hamilton took his second podium finish after getting up after colliding with Max Verstappen in turn 2. Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz finished third.
Charles Leclerc took fourth place, followed by Fernando Alonso behind him. Verstappen crossed the line in sixth place, ahead of teammate Sergio Perez in Q7.
Esteban Ocon finished the race in eighth place. Valtteri Bottas and Lance Stroll finished ninth and tenth respectively.
This result does not change Max Verstappen’s position at the top of the standings. The Dutch driver also blocked the previous world title.
Formula 1 2022 then entered the final series at the Abu Dhabi GP. The closing race of the season took place on Sunday (11/20) WIB evening.
