Max Verstappen looking for redemption. After being forced to retire in Australia, the multiple world champion wants to make up for it in Japan where, instead, Ferrari, strong of the double in Melbourne, is looking for confirmation. It is only the fourth round of the 2024 world championship, but there has been no shortage of emotions so far. The Japanese circuit favors the characteristics of Red Bull, it is no coincidence that in both 2022 and 2023 Max Verstappen triumphed, who in the meantime took pole. Among the pursuers, the Red team struggled in qualifying on a track that seems more suited to the McLaren of Piastri and Norris than the SF-24 of Leclerc and Sainz. For Team Principal Frederic Vasseur, however, it is a real test after the Melbourne GP. The Suzuka race promises to be rather complicated for Mercedes, with Hamilton and Russell expected to have a defensive race.
