KOMPAS.com – AlphaTauri Honda team racer, Pierre Gasly, successfully won the race Formula 1 ( F1) GP Italy which was held at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza Circuit, Sunday (6/9/2020) evening WIB.

Pierre Gasly became the first rider to touch the finish line by beating two of his competitors, Carlos Sainz (McLaren) and Lance Stroll (Racing Point).

Carlos Sainz is in second place with a difference of 0.4105 seconds behind Gasly.

Meanwhile, Lance Stroll, who recorded a time of 3.358 seconds from Gasly, was in third place.

Gasly’s success in winning the Italian GP is somewhat impressive. Because, he actually started the race from 10th.

However, starting from 10th did not make him pessimistic.

Slowly but surely, Gasly was able to improve his position to finish in first place.

When good fortune overshadowed Gasly, a difficult situation befell Mercedes racer Lewis Hamilton, who had to settle for finishing seventh.

In this race which lasted 53 laps, he actually had time to lead the race until lap 24.

However, things changed after he was charged a 10 second penalty for entering pit lane at an inappropriate time.

This condition hampered Hamilton’s appearance in the race which was stopped due to the accident.

The accident that occurred at the Italian GP involved a Ferrari team racer, Charles Leclerc.

Launching from the F1 page, Leclerc had a terrible accident at the last corner of the Monza Circuit.

Leclerc was unable to continue racing due to the accident.
