The new hybrid package for Ferrari’s power unit could be introduced in Miami in early May
The Ferrari he is about to upgrade the engine of his F1-75, which in these first three races has already proved to be the strongest single-seater in the World Championship, at least for the moment. According to the indiscretions reported by Motorsport, the Maranello team should already introduce the new hybrid package for the power unit (MGU-K motor generator, battery and control unit) in the Miami Grand Prix scheduled for the weekend of 8 May. further the gap with the Red Bull and with the Mercedes.
Updates (originally planned for Barcelona) will also benefit Alfa Romeo and Haas, the two customer teams: the development should lead to an increase in power and more stringent electrical strategies. At Imola the Cavallino will instead bring only one update, that of the fund, to deal with the problem of porpoising, or rather the hopping of the car on the straights.
