In Miami, the original plans were not met with enthusiasm by local opposition and residents. The promoter therefore moved the circuit to another location – it will take place around the Hard Rock stadium. This is the stand of the Miami Dolphins NFL club, which is owned by Stephen Ross – a key figure in the organization of the race.
The situation was not easy there either, but in the end the plant got the green light from the local government, also thanks to investments for local residents.
The circuit has 19 turns, is 5.41 km long. F1 has a maximum speed of 320 km / h and up to three DRS zones.
The contract between F1 and the promoter is valid for 10 years.
