Codemasters and Electronic Arts Inc today have EA SPORTS™ F1 22 Released: The Official Video Game of the 2022 FIA Formula One World Championship. The game is available for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®4, Xbox One and PC via Origin and Steam. This year sees revolutionary new cars designed to make racing even more intense. Also, the introduction of the Miami International Autodrome is a fact and players can also expect updates for circuits in Spain, Australia and Abu Dhabi. F1® 22 is packed with technological innovations, including updated physics, improved handling and tire models that respond even more precisely to events during the race. Adaptive AI has also been added: a setting that adjusts the level of AI drivers so that new players can always compete competitively. Players who get started with the PC version of the game will also have the opportunity to experience both the single player and multiplayer modes in VR. The adrenaline that drivers experience in real life from their cockpits comes closer than ever and thanks to the power of virtual reality, the feeling of speed is conveyed even more realistically.

Authenticity is always of great importance within the franchise, but F1® 22 takes it up a notch with the introduction of interactive and cinematic features, including ‘Immersive’ and ‘Broadcast’ options during pit stops, formation laps and safety car moments. For example, the commentary during the races has been re-recorded and the number of teams of commentators has been expanded to provide even more regions with realistic commentary.
